The change to the tab-based view will allow for having more quests in progress at the same time. There's a limited amount of space on the left side of the screen, and depending on your resolution, having 5 quests open at a time was already hiding certain other parts of the UI. We're also planning on introducing a third category of "quest", which makes it even more important to have the distinction and better overview. There are currently two main types of quests: standard quests (under "Story"), and event quests, and you can have a few different quests active within each of those categories at a time.Īn example issue that we observed was that you would need to click open and close a few quests to find the quest that you were actually trying to make progress on.
